Crucial App Concepts seeks $15,000 to finance its modernization and enhancement of the classic game, Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena, into an upgradeable free mobile app.
Katy, TX –Crucial App Concepts, Inc. has modernized the 1998 classic game, Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena, into a turn-based strategy game by creating a mobile-friendly free app. Having recently launched the Sabaton: War of Weeping Lands campaign, the company seeks $15,000 by July 8, 2014. This campaign will allow funders to accrue game currency and to be a part of the game’s creation and development. It will also offset the developer’s costs of improving the game with its planned upgrades. Some of the planned upgrades include additional kingdoms, full game multiplayer support and a larger map of all the kingdoms.
The game is based on three kingdoms or nations (soon to be upgraded to six) that try to resolve problems diplomatically, but the messengers who are sent to deliver the messages are killed on the way. The nations view this brutality as an act of hostility and begin to battle. Eventually they realize their mistakes, but it is too late. The winner does not want to relinquish power, and the losers have been bathed in bloodshed and want revenge.
The Weeping Land itself is a huge geyser that has an unknown origin and flows for miles. Each battle will be between three heroes versus three heroes, and each hero will have its own monster horde. The game will have nine kingdom specific creatures and ten common creatures with the potential to evolve into forty final forms. The Battle Map will have a hexagonal mapping system with all kinds of terrain that will include penalties and bonuses. The Questing System will allow players to choose the heroes that they wish to take on a chosen quest. Nine heroes will be kingdom specific, and ten heroes will be common. In addition, there will be many weapons and kinds of armor to choose from and free expansions for life.
Pledge levels have been created ranging from $15 to $25,000. A $15 pledge gets the donor $30 worth of game currency. A $30 donation gets $60 worth of game currency and the funder’s name in the credits. A pledge of $75 or more will give the contributor an opportunity to be part of the development process.
