The D.C. based Social Tables, a web-based hospitality operations management and sales software, just secured $8 million in a first round of funding. Bessemer Venture Partners lead the round.

Retention Science secures $7M to bring in new hires
Retention Science profiles consumer behavior to create marketing campaigns that purport to build consumer loyalty. Upfront Ventures led the round. Other investors include Baroda Ventures, Forerunner Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures.
To date, the company has secured $9 million in funding. This round of funding will be used to take on new employees.
